Clute has seven parks for year-round family fun.  The largest of the parks, Clute Municipal Park, includes pavilions, restrooms, playgrounds, picnic areas, sanctioned horseshoe pits,  basketball goals, a quarter-mile hike and bike trail with exercise equipment, and a 9-hole disc golf course.  And, to help cool you off during the summer months, it offers an Olympic-size recreational pool.  Recreational opportunities for the sports  enthusiast can be found at the Stratton Ridge Sportsplex a four-field lighted softball complex which also serves as home to the Clute Parks & Receation Department organized adult softball leagues.  The sportsplex also includes a soccer field and playground area.  It is ideally suited for softball tournaments or group sports activities.
